Kaleigh had always dreamed of taking her school formal photos with her beloved mare Charlie. She spent months preparing and training Charlie for the big day in front of the camera! (Although Charlie was a natural being a Western Pleasure show horse).
We decided to do the photoshoot on the day that Kaleigh had her hair and make-up trial (which I highly recommend!). This allowed us to take a bit more time and capture that golden light of the late afternoon.
As we began the photo shoot, everything was perfect. The sun was shining, and then a big, dark storm came in quickly and the light disappeared sooner than we expected. However, we managed to capture some lovely images of Kaleigh with Charlie, her pup Kaydie, mum, dad and grandad.
